DwfOut

Works with Bricscad (Windows) Classic and Pro, Bricscad (Linux) Classic

Saves the drawing in DWF and other formats (short for "drawing Web format output").

DwfOut is an alias for the Export command

Accessing the Command

command bar:  dwfout

: dwfout

Displays a dialog box:

Name the DWF file, and then choose a DWF format:

Click Save.

 

DWF files can be viewed with the DesignReview software, available free from www.autodesk.com/designreview.

Command Options

Option

Description

File name

Names the DWF file.

Specifies the format of DWF.

Click the droplist, and then choose one of the following formats:

  • 3D DWF v6.01 - preserves 3D data.

  • Binary DWF v6.0 - DWF in v6 binary format.

  • Zipped Ascii Encoded 2D Stream v6.0 - creates the DWF file in ASCII format, and then compresses the file using ZIP format; use PkUnzip or WinZip to uncompress the file.

  • Compressed DWF v5.5 - DWF in v5.5 compressed binary format.

  • Binary DWF v5.5 - DWF in v5.5 binary format.

  • Ascii DWF v5.5 - DWF in v5.5 ASCII format.

  • Compressed DWF v4.2 - DWF in v4.2 compress binary format.

  • Binary DWF v4.2 - DWF in v4.2 binary format.

  • Ascii DWF v4.2 - DWF in v4.2 ASCII format.

Save

Saves the entire drawing in DWF format.

Entities on frozen layers are not exported.
