Command: DDEDIT
The Ddedit command edits single-line text, multi-line text, attribute definitions, and attribute text (short for "dynamic dialog editor").
You can edit an attribute definition only before it is saved as part of a block definition.
To edit tag, prompt or default text of an attribute
Do one of the following:
Type ddedit in the command bar, then press Enter and select the attribute.
Double click the attribute.
The Edit attribute definition dialog opens.
(option) Type a new name in the Tag field.
Lowercase letters are converted to uppercase automatically.
(option) Type a new prompt in the Prompt field.
If you leave the Prompt field empty,
the attribute Tag will be used as the
prompt instead.
(option) Type a new text in the Default field.
Press the OK button to save your changes.
To edit an attribute definition
Click the attribute.
The attribute properties display in the Properties
Bar.
Modify the attribute properties in the Properties Bar fields.
Press the Esc key to stop editing.
