Introduces a shell to the vectorization
context.
Namespace: Teigha.GraphicsInterface
Assembly: TD_Mgd (in TD_Mgd.dll) Version:
27.3.0.0
Syntax
public abstract bool Shell(
Point3dCollection points,
IntegerCollection faces,
EdgeData edgeData,
FaceData faceData,
VertexData vertexData,
bool bAutoGenerateNormals
)
Public MustOverride Function Shell (
points As Point3dCollection,
faces As IntegerCollection,
edgeData As EdgeData,
faceData As FaceData,
vertexData As VertexData,
bAutoGenerateNormals As Boolean
) As Boolean
public:
virtual bool Shell(
Point3dCollection^ points,
IntegerCollection^ faces,
EdgeData^ edgeData,
FaceData^ faceData,
VertexData^ vertexData,
bool bAutoGenerateNormals
) abstract
abstract Shell :
points : Point3dCollection *
faces : IntegerCollection *
edgeData : EdgeData *
faceData : FaceData *
vertexData : VertexData *
bAutoGenerateNormals : bool -> bool
Parameters
- points Point3dCollection
- [in] Collection of vertices.
- faces IntegerCollection
- [in] Collection of integers that define faces.
- edgeData EdgeData
- [in] Additional edge data.
- faceData FaceData
- [in] Additional face data.
- vertexData VertexData
- [in] Additional vertex data.
- bAutoGenerateNormals Boolean
- [in] Flag that indicates whether the display system should
automatically generate normals for vertices and faces if they are
not specified within the vertexData and
faceData parameters.
Return Value
Boolean
true. This method also throws a corresponding exception if it
fails.
Remarks
A shell is a set
of faces that can contain holes and corresponds to a polyface mesh.
By default, a mesh takes on the current color. Color, linetype, and
and other properties can be controlled by supplying the appropriate
data for the edgeData, faceData, and vertexData arguments. * The
arrays in *edgeData must be NULL or contain the same number of
elements as the number of edges. * The arrays in *faceData must be
NULL or contain the same number of elements as the number of faces.
* The arrays in *vertexData must be NULL or contain numVertices
elements.
