Reports the x,y,z coordinates of picked points.

Accessing the Command

command bar:  id

transparent:  'id

shortcut:  Ctrl

alias:  idpoint

menu bar:  Tools | Inquiry | ID Coordinates

toolbar:  Inquiry |

Prompts you in the command bar:

Select point to identify coordinates: (Pick a point in the drawing.)

X=17.9824    Y-2.7442    Z=0.0000

You can use entity snaps to pick points accurately on geometric features.

The z-coordinate is actually the value of the elevation. See Elev command.
