XSubtract

Works with Bricscad (Windows) Platinum

Performs Boolean subtraction operations on Acis solids and X-Solids; removes one from the other.

Accessing the Command

command bar:  xsubtract

menu bar:  X-Solids | Subtract

toolbar:  X-Solids |

: xsubtract

Prompts you in the command bar:

Select solids and regions to subtract from...

Select entities: select the first set of one or more Acis solids and X-Solids

Right click to stop selecting entities.

Select solids and regions to subtract...

Select entities: select the second set of one or more Acis solids and X-Solids

Right click to stop selecting entities.

The second selection set is subtracted from the first selection set.

The resulting solid takes on the properties of the first-picked solid.
