Command: DRAWORDER
If new entities overlap existing entities, they will display and print on top of the previously drawn entities. The Draw Order tool can change the order in which overlapping entities are displayed and printed. You can move entities to the front or the back, or above or under another entity.
Using Draw Order
Do one of the following:
Click the Draw
Order tool button () on the Draw Order
toolbar.
Choose Draw Order in the Tools menu.
Type draworder in the command bar.
The command bar reads: Select entities to change the draw order:
Select the entities, then right click or press enter.
The command bar reads: Change draw order:
Above/Under/Clear/Front/<Back>:
Choose the appropriate draw order tool option.
Depending on your choice:
If you have chosen Above or Under, the
command bar reads: Select reference entity:
Identify the reference entity. The display of the selection set is
changed with respect to the reference entity.
If you have chosen Front or Back, the display of the selection set is changed accordingly.
Using Draw Order tools
Select the entities you want to change the draw order of.
Do one of the following.
Click the appropriate tool button on the Draw Order toolbar.
Right click, then choose Draw Order in the context menu and select the
appropriate tool.
