We’ve worked hard to add as much functionality to X-Solids as possible without sacrificing ease of use. It is our goal for X-Solids to make the task of solid modeling easier, faster, more accurate and more enjoyable.
X-Solids achieves this goal by providing:

constraint-free parametric editing of solid models;

graphical User Interface;
effortless creation of 2D geometry for detailed drawings through QuickDraw.
X-Solids is a Bricscad Runtime eXtension (BRX) application that works within Bricscad to help create, modify and visualize solid models. X-Solids provides its own command set to create, edit and manage solid entities.
Warning:
X-Solids are virtually indistinguishable from regular ACIS solid entities created with the create ACIS solids commands. Because Bricscad recognizes X-Solids as regular ACIS entities, X-solids can be used with any of the ACIS solid editing commands, such as UNION, SUBTRACT, ACISOUT, MASSPROP, etc., that accept solid entities. However, because the ACIS edit commands cannot access the CSG tree data of an X-Solid, such editing leads to unexpected results if the X-Solid is edited afterwards with one of the X-Solids editing commands.
