Classifies an entity as a Building Element and get a name and an internal guid (a globally unique identifier).
At any time, any dwg entities can be classified as a Building Element and get a name and an internal guid (a globally unique identifier).
Accessing the Command
command bar: bimclassify
menu bar: BIM | Classify As Building Element
toolbar: BIM |
Quad: BIM Classification |
: bimclassify
Prompts you in the command bar:
Select entities to apply BIM data: (Select an entity.)
Entities in set: 1
Select entities to apply BIM data: (Select more entities or right click.)
Classify them as: Wall/Column/Slab/Beam/wIndow/Door/buildingElement/Auto/Unclassify: (Select an option.)
