Accessing the Command

BricscadViewport displays a dialog box:

Command Options

Option

Description

Viewport

The current viewport is rendered.

Permanent render mode

Every subsequent redraw of the display produces a rendered image.

File

The rendered image of the current viewport is exported to a file.

Click the browse button to open the Render output file dialog.

  • Select an output folder.

  • Type a name in the File name field.

  • Select an image file type:

Width

Height

The Width and Height field define the quality of the output image.

Start calculating the rendering.

Distantlight - creates a distant light.

Hide - removes hidden lines from 3D entities.

Light - creates a new light in the drawing.

Lightlist - displays the Drawing Explorer - Lights dialog window.
