Generates a photorealistic rendering using materials and lights through the command bar.

Accessing the Command

command bar:  -render

 

: -render

Prompts you in the command bar:

Specify render preset [Draft/Low/Medium/High/Presentation/Other] <Medium>:

Specify render destination: File/Render window/<Viewport>:

Specify render destination: File/<Viewport>: (Press Enter to render the current viewport or type F to save the rendered image to a file.)

Prompts you in the command bar:

Specify output file name: Type the path and filename. If no path is specified the file is saved to the BricsCAD program folder (by default this is C:\Program Files\Bricsys\BricsCAD Vxx).

Enter output width <800>: Type the width of the image or press Enter to accept the default width.

Enter output height <600>: Type the height of the image or press Enter to accept the default height.

The ANTIALIASRENDER system variable controls the amount of anti-aliasing (edge smoothing) applied during the rendering generation. The default value is 1, maximum value is 5.

Note: high anti-alias values incur a high calculation cost.
