Converts the current drawing into a mechanical component.

Accessing the Command

command bar:  bmmech

menu bar: Mechanical | Initialize Mechanical Structure

toolbar: Mechanical |

Prompts you in the command bar:

Name for new mechanical component <CurrentDrawingName> : (Press Enter to accept the current name or type a new name if you want to keep the original. If the drawing was not yet saved before, a default name, Component_1, is suggested.)

BmBom - inserts a Bill of Materials (BOM) table in the current drawing.

BmBrowser - toggles the visibility of the Mechanical Browser window.

BmDissolve - dissolves a mechanical component inserted in the current drawing.
