Overrides the values of the current dimension style.

Accessing the Command

command bar:  dimoverride

aliases:  dor, dimover

 

: dimoverride

Prompts you in the command bar:

Clear overrides/<Dimension variable to override>: (Enter the name of a dimension variable, or type C.)

dimvar is now <"0.0000">.  New value: (Enter new value.)

Dimension variable to override: (Enter the name of another dimension variable, or press Enter to continue.)

Select dimensions to use new value(s): (Choose one or more dimensions.)

Select dimensions to use new value(s): (Press Enter to exit command.)

Clear Overrides

Resets the values of dimension variables, clearing the overrides; prompts you:

Select dimensions to clear overrides - choose the dimensions whose settings should be reset.

Dimension Variable to Override

Specifies the name of the dimension variable to override.

New Value

Specifies the new value; press Enter to keep the existing value.

Select Dimensions to Use New Value(s)

Chooses the dimensions to override.

Properties - edits the properties of dimensions through a palette.
