Works with Bricscad (Windows) Classic and Pro, Bricscad (Linux) Classic
Draws 3D boxes as mesh surfaces.
Accessing the Command
command bar: ai_box
menu bar: Draw | 3D Meshes | Box
toolbar: Draw3D |
: ai_box
Prompts you in the command bar:
Corner of box <0,0,0>: (Pick a point, or enter coordinates.)
Length of side of box: (Pick a point, or enter a length.)
Cube/<Width of box>: (Pick a point, enter a width, or type C.)
Height of box: (Enter a height.)
Rotation angle for box: (Enter a rotation angle, or 0 for none.)
Command Options
Option |
Description |
Specifies the lower-left corner of the box. |

Specifies the length of one side, along the positive x-direction. |
|
Specifies the width of one side, along the positive y-direction. |
|
Specifies the height of one side, along the positive z-direction. |
|
Specifies the counterclockwise rotation angle about the corner (initial pick point). |
|
Draws a box with all sides of equal length. |
Grips Editing
Mesh-formed boxes can be edited directly through grips:
Select the box. Notice that it has several grips.
Drag a grip to stretch the adjacent faces.
