Description |
INSUNITS |
Insertion units |
Controls the automatic when inserting blocks or attaching xrefs or images. |
MEASUREMENT |
Measurement |
Determines whether Imperial (ANSI) or Metric (ISO) hatch pattern and linetype files are used. |
UNITMODE |
Unit mode |
Specifies how imperial units display. |
LUNITS |
Linear unit type |
Sets the linear unit type. |
LUPREC |
Linear unit precision |
Determines the display precision for linear units in dialog boxes and the Coordinates field in the Status Bar. The LUPREC system variable affects the display precision only, not the internal precision. |
AUNITS |
Angular unit type |
Sets the angular units display format. |
AUPREC |
Angular unit precision |
Determines the display precision for angular units in dialog boxes and the Coordinates field in the Status Bar. The AUPREC system variable affects the display precision only, not the internal precision. |
ANGBASE |
Angular base |
Sets the origin for angular units relative to the current coordinate system . If ANGBASE = 0, angles are measured from the X-axis. |
ANGDIR |
Angular direction |
Sets the positive angle direction. If ANGDIR = 0 or OFF, angles are measured counter clockwise (default setting). |
Although the AUNITS system variable defines the angular unit type, you can enter angles in any of 5 formats:
Decimal degrees: 37.456
Degrees / Minutes / Seconds: 37°27'22" or 37d27'22"
Gradians: 41.6178g
Radians: 0.6537r
Surveyor's Units:
N52°32'38"E or N52d32'38"E
Surveyor's units are measured from the North (N) or the South (S)
to the East (E) or to the West (W).
