X-Solids Commands

To launch an X-Solid command you can either click the tool buttons on the X-Solid toolbars, choose the commands in the X-Solids menus or key-in the command in the command bar. The XDIA command can suppress X-Solids command dialogs and thus force command-line interpretation .

List

xlist

Displays the CSG tree of selected X-Solids solids, in one of two textual formats.

Offset

xoffset

Creates a new solid by offsetting all faces of an existing solid at a user-specified distance.

Punch

xpunch

Punches holes in 3D solids using 2D profiles as punching tools.

Purge

xpurge

Removes the editing data (the "history" or "CSG" data) from selected solids.

Quickdraw

xquickdraw

Instantly creates 2D geometry from selected solids for the completion of multi-view orthographic and isometric drawings.

Retract

xretract

Separates a solid by undoing the most recent Boolean operation that was applied to the solid.

Retract all

xretractall

Explodes a composite solid into its component primitives.

Revolve

xrevolve

Creates a three-dimensional solid by revolving 2D entities.

Section

xsection

Invokes the Bricscad SECTION command, which creates a 2D region of the cross section of a solid through a user-specified plane.

Shell

xshell

Subtracts the interior from an existing solid to create a thin-walled solid.

Slice

xslice

Slices solids with a plane.

Edit solid

xsolidedit
